Re: Lee Crane’s Blog
I had no idea Capt. Crane had been through
so much by D’Alvarez. It all happened long before I arrived aboard Seaview, but nowhere in the Corpsman’s report
was there any indication of the psychological torture he’d suffered. At least Crane’s appeared to have been able
to put it behind him somewhat.

Re: Lee Crane’s Blog
Yes, psychological torture can be just
a depraved as the physical. From what you’ve told me previously, this man had been through this sort of thing on numerous
occasions while on assignment with other Naval agencies. I think writing about it on the blog will be very beneficial. And it’s heartening to see the bond between he
and Nelson, and also Morton.

Sometimes I think their strong friendship
is the only rope Crane can hold onto when things crumble around him. Will have to tell you about some of his more, shall we
say, intense experiences later on.
